Alcaidesa Golf Alcaidesa Links Golf Course, opened in 1992, is located in an area practically dedicated to the game of golf, near Gibraltar, east of the city of San Roque. The course’s design, by Peter Allis and Clive Clark, has been inspired by Scottish courses, and is the only true "links" course in Spain. Playing here is a unique experience you will never forget.

A round on this 18-hole (par 72) smooth-playing course winds around spectacular natural dunes. Several of the holes are parallel to the sea, with such incredible views that you’ll want to take a breather just to drink in the beauty of the Bay of Algeciras, Gibraltar, and on clear days, the northern coast of Africa.

Although Alcaidesa Golf is one of the Costa del Sol’s newer courses, it underwent extensive upgrading in 1999, resulting in greatly-widened fairways and a number of other carefully thought-out improvements all designed to make playing in this unique course an exciting and challenging experience for players of all abilities.
